Emily's Warmth at Christmas
Emily and the Warmth of Christmas is a tender, uplifting holiday story about compassion, healing, and the true spirit of giving. Fourteen-year-old Emily, newly adopted and experiencing her first Christmas in a loving home, discovers the power of kindness when she notices a boy shivering at the bus stop.
Inspired to help, she creates a “Coats for Christmas” collection box—sparking a wave of generosity throughout her neighborhood. From neighbors to teachers to the friendly mail carrier, people come together with jackets, parkas, and warm winter gear, filling Emily’s porch with color and hope. On Christmas Eve, Emily and her mom deliver the coats to a local shelter, sharing warmth with families who need it most. The heartfelt connections she makes and the gratitude she receives help Emily realize that love grows even brighter when it’s shared.
Overflowing with emotion, community spirit, and the magic of giving, this story celebrates how one act of kindness can touch an entire town—and transform a young girl’s heart forever. Emily and the Warmth of Christmas is perfect for families, classrooms, and anyone who believes that the holidays shine brightest when we help others.
